New SUNCAT Contributing Library – University of Strathclyde

We are pleased to announce that the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow has now been loaded into SUNCAT. This is our fourth new library for 2012. It has contributed over 48,000 serial records, just over 35,000 of which are for electronic journals. The Library’s aim is to provide access to materials and information resources which will help with studies and research in a supportive learning environment. The University of Strathclyde also hosts the Royal Scottish Geographical Society Library.

The University of Strathclyde is the 12th Scottish library to be added to SUNCAT. Currently SUNCAT contains 9 Scottish university libraries: Aberdeen; Dundee; Edinburgh Napier; Edinburgh (including Edinburgh College of Art); Glasgow; Robert Gordon; St. Andrews; Stirling; and Strathclyde. It also contains the records of the National Library of Scotland, and the libraries of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh and the Scottish National Gallery.

There are now 88 libraries, plus CONSER, ISSN Register and the Directory of Open Access Journals in SUNCAT. Take a look at the full list of the 88 Contributing Libraries.
