“The Current State of Open Access Repository Interoperability (2012)”

The Confederation of Open Access Repositories (COAR) has just released its report on “The Current State of Open Access Repository Interoperability (2012)”. The report provides an overview of the current interoperability landscape in its first section, describing available services in areas such as metadata harvesting, usage statistics, unique identifiers or support services for repository networks. Section 2 offers further details on specific initiatives designed to support these areas of work, including OA Repository Junction, PIRUS2, SWORD and the RepNet Project.

The report is the result of the work of COAR WG2, in which EDINA and JISC are represented, and has benefitted from input by several present and past RepNet Project members.
